So Sweet

Chocolate-Covered Strawberries will satisfy any chocolate craving, these sweet treats are super easy to make with only three ingredients. If you are not planning to make the strawberries the same day as you’ve purchased, place the berries in a partially closed container lined with paper towels to remove any excess moisture. Strawberries tend to last a few more days this way, who doesn’t love that?!

  • Day of wash the strawberries and make sure they are completely dry before dipping them in the chocolate or else the chocolate will just slide right off the berry.

  • Set aside 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil and have your double broiler ready to simmer on the stove.

  • Add the chocolate chips of your choice to a heat safe bowl. Once the water begins to simmer, place the bowl on the double broiler.

  • Add the oil, stir using a heatproof rubber spatula, until the chips have melted - remove from heat.

  • Quickly begin to dip the chocolate chips as the chocolate will begin to cool.

  • Place the berries on a cookie sheet lined with wax or parchment paper.

  • Let sit at room temperature for 5 minutes and then place them in the refrigerator for up to 15 minutes.
